• Timber Expo is strictly a trade event for companies of the timber, building and construction trades.
• Only pre-registered visitors, exhibitor badge holders and visitors who register on or before the 25 or 26 September 2012 will be able to enter Timber Expo.
• Free courtesy shuttle buses will operate every 15 minutes on a continuous cycle from Coventry Railway Station to the Ricoh Arena. These will operate from 8.30am to 5.30pm on the 25 and 26 September 2012 only.
• Registration takes place in the atrium of the Ricoh Arena using Expo System’s ‘GoGreen’ – a self-scan process for efficient and environmentally friendly badge production and collection. Those opting to GoGreen can choose whether to receive their e-badges via email or mobile phone. Omni– directional scanners will enable ‘any badge, any terminal, anywhere’, within seconds.
• Seminar places are free of charge and are subject to capacity constraints. Delegate places will be allocated of a ‘first come’ basis and there will be limited standing room around each seminar theatre which may be restricted by health and safety rules.
• The Organisers Office will be staffed from 8:00am to 6:00pm in the atrium by the main registration area, to answer all queries relating to registration, visitor and exhibitor access and general event management.
• Students are permitted entry to the show but must be on a recognised relevant course and must state their college/university name on the registration form under ‘Company Name'. Student entry is only permitted after 1pm on 26 September 2012.
• No one under the age of 16 will be able to attend Timber Expo unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Visitors will not be permitted entry into the show after 3:30pm on the 26 September – the last day.
• The Timber Buyers Forum and VIP Lounge are restricted access and only accessible by visitors or participants meeting the strict entry badge criteria. These facilities are not open to the general visitor.
• The Wood Awards takes place at lunchtime on 25 September and is an invitation only event – not open to the public.
• Official Timber Expo photographers will be taking photographs and filming throughout the event. The Organisers reserve the right to use any film and photographs, which may include visitors and exhibitors, for the purpose of promoting and marketing Timber Expo in the future.
• There is onsite car parking for 2,500 vehicles. Parking is free for exhibitors and visitors at all times.
• The Organisers reserve the right to exclude or remove anyone from Timber Expo and the Ricoh Arena who they reasonably consider to be disruptive, violent or under the influence of drink and drugs, or who are prohibited from attending under any applicable laws or regulations.
• Published schedules may be influenced by footfall events taking place and as such the organisers reserve the right to amend opening times and schedules.
